Concept/Demo

Sushi Counter: a website direction for your business.

A reskin of the Table engine: the same short menu, dish pages and reservation preview, carrying a ten-seat sushi counter that will not use the phrase sushi grade, says which fish is aged and which is cooked, and prints the ninety-minute seating on the booking form.

Concept/demo. Sample business details, prices and availability are illustrative. Journeys run in the browser; no booking, order, payment or request is sent.

Business need

Make the next step clear.

For sushi counter, visitors need to understand the offer, inspect the details, and see how to take the next step. This concept makes that journey visible before a real project is scoped.

Design direction

Indigo on pale hinoki, persimmon accent. Typography uses Shippori Mincho and Zen Kaku Gothic New, with a palette developed for this concept.

Primary journey

The Table engine reskinned again: a short menu, piece pages and a booking preview → the phrase sushi grade never appears, because it is not a regulated term → the salmon says it was frozen and why, the sea bream says it was aged two days → miso soup is marked not vegetarian because the dashi is made with dried fish
